Makeda is a brave girl who was adopted from Ethiopia when she was just 6 month old and has been living in Vancouver ever since. Unfortunately a few months ago she was diagnosed with AGU, an inherited disease that is characterized by a decline in mental functioning, accompanied by an increase in skin, bone and joint issues.
For every MAKEDA COOKIE BOX you order, we donate all our profits to Rare Trait Hope Society- @raretraithope, a foundation created to raise funds for the development of a cure for AGU!
